
Established in the 1968, the Vishwakarma Industries Association (VKIA) stands as one of the largest and oldest industrial estates in the state of Rajasthan. located in the northern region of Jaipur, this extensive industrial hub was developed by the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) with the objective of promoting industrialization in the region.
Initially, the industrial estate began with only a handful of small-scale industries. However, over the decades, it has witnessed significant growth and development, both in scale and infrastructure. Today, VKIA spans an impressive area of approximately 15 to 18 square kilometers. It serves as a vital economic and industrial engine for the region, housing around 2,000 small-scale industrial units along with several large and medium-scale enterprises.
The industries within VKIA cover a wide range of sectors, including engineering, manufacturing, plastics, electronics, textiles, packaging, and more. The well-planned layout of the estate, coupled with road connectivity, power supply, water facilities, and proximity to key transportation routes, makes it a prime destination for business and industrial activity.
